Deliverance

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:17,18)

"God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (II Timothy 1:7)

"......more than conquerors through him that loved us." (Romans 8:37)

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36)

"...though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"  (II Corithians 10:3-5)

"Therefore, if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away and behold all things have become new." (  II Corithians 5:17)

Greater is He that is within me, than he that is in the world.

"The thief cometh not, but to steal, kill and destroy, but I come to give you life, and that more abundantly." (John 10:10)

"The name of the LORD is a strongtower; the righteous run to it and are safe." (Proverbs) 18:10)

Battle-time Strategies To Defeat the Devil (The Holy Spirit will reveal the enemies' plans for the person seeking deliverance.)
  •       Deliverance in Church Setting under the auspices of Pastor or Designated Ascension Gift (Before Service-Intercessory Prayer, Covering with the   Blood, Repentence)
      Deliverance Team
Leader-May lead the person to Christ (if at all possible, get the person saved
first);speaks to the spirit(s) itself and commands it (them) to leave; usually will use a
word of  knowledge concerning background of condition(through hurt, sin, bloodline et
           cetera.)
Intercessor-Stands in the gap, actually feels what person seeking deliverance feels,
may travail in the Spirit, fights in the spirit, may pray in tongues or in the natural(softly).
Praiser-praiser may sing, quote scriptures, affirm deliverance In the Name of Jesus,
or cover with the Blood of Jesus(do any or all),wars in the worship.
Positions may switch.  Remember, whoever the leader is at the time leads. Everyone
flows in the Spirit. There is no competition.  They agree in the Spirit. All are important to
           get the job done.
***There may be more than 3 on Deliverance Team; however, I suggest a minimum of
3 saints.  You might need the assistance of a catcher or a few strong men around
                 depending upon situation.

  •       Self-Deliverance (Can't get to church and the devil is harassing you or yours.)
  •      God has equipped us with a mighty arsenal of weapons: Your Position in Christ(salvation (soteria) means deliverance, health and so much more), The Word of God, The Name of Jesus, The Blood of Jesus, Speaking in Tongues, Binding and Loosing, Gifts of the Spirit, Power of Agreement.  Use your authority, speak to the condition itself, declare your freedom using the Word of God, if necessary, dispatch angels (warring and ministering) to fight for you.  Use the material below to identify the spirit (s).  Get the principality and the others will begin to flee.
  • Don't forget to call them out by name.  Spirits  link up together like links in a chain.  Command them to unlink and go in Jesus' Name.  It is  also  helpful to have appropriate praise and worship music playing to further disrupt  and confuse the enemy. Remember, when  Saul had an evil spirit upon him, the Bible says that he called for David (a praiser), one skilled to play music to play.  The outcome was that the evil spirit had to leave Saul.
